Designed for those interested in the allied health and fitness professions, the Online Master of Science in Kinesiology (MSK) provides students with a breadth of knowledge in kinesiology including an emphasis in behavior change, exercise physiology, program design, movement science, and evidence-based practice in kinesiology.
The program combines a rigorous academic experience with real-world applications to address a variety of health-related issues facing our society. In addition to the comprehensive general coursework, the program features a culminating experience or thesis (student option) that provides students with a practical experiential learning opportunity or a research experience.
The MSK can be completed in 4 semesters (18 months), is offered 100% online, and students have the option of attending full or part time.
*An applicant who does not have a major in Kinesiology must take or have taken three undergraduate courses from the areas of biomechanics, exercise physiology, motor control/learning, applied kinesiology, or functional anatomy and one course from the areas of sport psychology or exercise psychology with a grade of C or better.
