Dr. Brittany Sanchez joined the CSUB faculty in Fall 2017 after completing her Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on genetic influences in metabolism; such as genes that impact nutrient uptake and delivery with diet and exercise. Her favorite part about teaching at CSUB is bringing research experiences to practical concepts in the classroom.
She has engaged many students as participants and research assistants in the laboratory, and looks forward to mentoring graduate students as part of the process. Her other hobbies include golf, running, and skydiving.
