Advising
For MSCS and MSK, you will be contacted by your department for advising.
Advising is available online via email and phone. It is very important that all students participate in email advising. Aside from ensuring you are taking the appropriate classes to graduate, you are also given information regarding upcoming scheduling plans and graduation information.
Registration
Registration dates differ from the Main Campus so please check our website for EE Degree Programs registration dates.
Students can register for courses through their online MyCSUB portal or by submitting and Add form to the Extended Education (EE) Degree Programs office via fax or email.
Search for Classes
EE Degree Programs students can find courses by reviewing the schedule. This schedule includes courses, course registration numbers, fees, room assignments, and instructor contact information, if available.
Register Online
To register online, click on the myCSUB link at the bottom of the EE Degree Programs homepage menu. Click on the “First-time user?” link and following the instructions to set up your account. Courses that require prerequisites do not allow online registration, and an Add form must be submitted via email or fax. Students who register online have the option of online payment with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express, but a surcharge will be applied. Online E-check is also available, free of charge. Due to privacy issues, payments via fax, email, or phone cannot be accepted. Once registered, students may go online to their MyCSUB account and pay the balance.
If you have any issues registering online, please submit an Add form to our office.
CSUB Office 365 Email
A university-assigned Office 365 student email account is the official means of university communication with all students. Students are responsible for reading all information sent to them via their university email account. If a student chooses to forward his or her university email account, he or she is responsible for all information, including attachments, sent to any other email account. CSUB provides students with an email account upon the student’s enrollment to the institution. This account is free of charge and remains active one calendar year following the last enrolled term. Your Runner Email account can be accessed at www.csub.edu/email and using your MyCSUB log-in credentials.
ALL CORRESPONDENCE FROM YOUR INSTRUCTORS AND OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION FROM THE CAMPUS AND OUR OFFICE WILL BE SENT TO THIS EMAIL ADDRESS – PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK IT DAILY!
OFFICIAL INFORMATION WILL NOT BE SENT TO YOUR PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS.

Immunization Requirements
The California State University requires all students in face-to-face or hybrid programs, born after January 1, 1957 to provide immunization records. Immunization holds are placed on your university account 15 weeks after the beginning of your first semester at CSUB. If you fail to provide adequate information regarding CSUB's required immunizations within that period of time, a hold will be placed and your registration privileges will be suspended. You can read more about this requirement here: https://www.csub.edu/healthcenter
COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
The California State University, which includes CSU Bakersfield, requires that all students, faculty and staff accessing campus be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus to protect the safety and health of our entire ’Runner community. The deadline to be fully vaccinated is Sept. 30, 2021. Medical and religious exemptions will be considered. The procedure for filing an exemption is under development. Please refer to https://www.csub.edu/vaccines
If you have questions or need assistance in submitting your information, please contact the COVID-19 Call Center at 661-654-3091 or covidqa@csub.edu.
