RICA Exam Prep
CSUB Extended Education offers a one-day, five-hour review course to help teacher credential candidates prepare for the Reading Instruction Competence Assessment (RICA) Exam. The course is taught by Dr. Kristina LaGue, Professor in the School of Social Sciences and Education at CSU Bakersfield. Dr. LaGue is a former RICA Exam grader and has great insights that will help you be successful on the exam.

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location
Online via Zoom. Training materials and the Zoom link will be emailed to you once registration and payment are received and processed.
How to Register
Download a registration form and email it to program coordinator, Timothy Lafondez at tlafond@csub.edu. Once your registration is received and processed, online payment instructions will be emailed to you. Registration deadline is the Wednesday before the class date. Registrations will not be accepted the day of class. This is a non-credit course.
