Dr. Saeed Jafarzadeh is an Associate Professor at California State University, Bakersfield. He currently serves as the chair for Computer and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. He received his Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from University of Nevada, Reno. His current research focus is on interdisciplinary aspects of the energy industry such as stability analysis of energy markets, forecasting renewable energy resources, quantification of smart grid policies, optimization of energy conversion systems, and power systems dynamic state estimation.
