CSUB Extended Education is pleased to announce the launch of our new website, now located at extended.csub.edu. We spent more than a year working to create a totally new online experience, with future and current students as the highest priority. We have significantly streamlined all of our content and resources, populating the site with the most accessed, and most important, content.
We’ve also taken significant steps to ensure a unified experience when evaluating our program options. Each program landing page now includes an “At a Glance” section, which provides a high-level overview of the program. The program-level navigation is consistent across the site, so users can easily access information regarding admissions, tuition and fees, financial aid, and more, for each program.
The new website is also tailored for your device. Now, whether you choose to access our site on your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop, our site is engineered to deliver a consistent and frustration-free experience. If you find that’s not the case, please be sure to let us know by submitting your issue via our site feedback form.
Enhancements still in the works
While we’re excited about our new home online, this is just the beginning. We’ll be constantly evaluating your feedback, how users interact with our site, and new trends, to deliver the most meaningful experience possible. Some items already in the hopper include:
- Interactive online schedule of classes
- A News Center with the ability to subscribe for future updates
- Events calendar with RSS feed
- An “In the community” section that highlights how our programs and students impact the greater Kern County area
