Admission Requirements
Admission to the Online B.A. in Sociology program requires the following:

60 transferable semester units from an accredited college or university

Area A and B4 of General Education (GE) requirements completed (it is advised that all lower division general education be completed prior to admission to ensure timely program completion)

Minimum 2.3 GPA in all college coursework
Applicants should review CSU Bakersfield’s GE requirements for upper-division transfer admission. Applicants who have completed coursework outside California might need to consult with their institution’s transfer advisor prior to applying to CSU Bakersfield.
